Overview

Rolando Garcia-Rojas, J.D., M.Sc., M.P.H. joins Sagsharma LLC as a dedicated expert in Sagsharma’s healthcare and life sciences practice group with over 20+ years of relevant experience. He is also a qualified corporate compliance specialist with knowledge spanning various industries. 

Rolando is originally from Miami, Florida. He completed his undergraduate education in Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. He then went on to complete a dual Masters at Barry University in Health Services Administration and Public Health. Rolando subsequently attended and graduated from Barry University School of Law.

Rolando has robust clinical legal experience.

He performed as a Student Legal Clinician with Barry University’s Environmental and Earth Law Clinic where he collaborated with government officials on the drafting of legislation to increase the access and availability of electric vehicle charging stations at public locations.

He also supported St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s Office of the General Counsel by reviewing and drafting clinical trial agreements.

Most recently, Rolando served as a Corporate Compliance Specialist with the Opthalmic Consultants of Long Island where he ensured the medical group was complying with relevant healthcare regulations.
